ABOUT ABOUT

It is the summer of 1953, and George and Charlotte Hay, once famous Broadway actors are now stuck doing repertory theater in Buffalo.  Their daughter Rosalind (Roz), who used to act with them, has left the company for a "real job" and thus leaves her beau and company stage manager Paul, behind.  But when Roz returns with a her fiance, Howard, who is a local weatherman, she doesn't know that her father George was caught being unfaithful with a young actress Eileen. Nor does she know that her mother Charlotte is running away with lawyer Richard Maynard.  Grief stricken George turns to the bottle before all learn that the famous Hollywood director, Frank Capra, is coming to see their show to possibly cast them in his movie! Madness ensues as the company tries to sober George up for the show, but no one seems to know which show they are doing and Roz's fiance has been mistaken as the famous director by her hard of hearing grandmother Ethel!   Ken Ludwig's Moon Over Buffalo is a fast-paced, hilarious comedy that takes you backstage to a theater company like no other!    SHOW CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT
